PEGASUS IMAGING VERIFIES COMPATIBILITY WITH VISUAL STUDIO 2008 AND WINDOWS SERVER 2008 |
| TAMPA, FL, JANUARY 31, 2008 – Pegasus® Imaging Corporation, the leading provider of digital imaging technology, today announces recent updates to its .NET and ActiveX Software Development Kits (SDKs). The updates ensure compatibility with the Visual Studio® 2008 (VS 2008) development environment and the Windows Server® 2008 operating system. The updates were all released in service packs to the current versions of Pegasus Imaging SDKs during January 2008. Pegasus Imaging conducted testing on the latest versions of all components using the released version of VS 2008. Most of the currently shipping components ran successfully under VS 2008 and required no updates. Four components needed updates: ScanFix Xpress v5.1, ThumbnailXpress v1, Barcode Xpress v5 and PDF Xpress v1. These components are included in multiple products from Pegasus Imaging. Users can download the latest builds from the product download pages on Pegasus Imaging’s website. This is a complimentary update to registered customers of the current versions. Customers using older versions are encouraged to upgrade. Pegasus Imaging also conducted testing on the current versions of all components using the released version of Windows Server 2008.
