Barcode Xpress is priced according to the edition required and deployment. Before purchasing a development kit, determine if 2D barcode support or high-speed processing are required. This determines which edition is needed, so please review the "Edition Descriptions" on the Features webpage.

Runtime Licensing

This product requires deployment licensing. There are 4 categories of licensing.

You are installing Pegasus code on client systems.
You are installing Pegasus code on server systems.
You are installing Pegasus code on systems that generate ongoing revenue.
You are deploying code using the Workflow Activity Libraries.

Based on the number of runtimes or server deployments anticipated, a license purchase may be made online or you may sign up as a reseller or OEM by contacting Pegasus Imaging. When more than one Pegasus component is involved in the same installation, such as Barcode Xpress used with ImagXpress Document, SmartZone, and/or ScanFix Xpress, the full price will be charged only on the highest cost runtimes, and additional runtime fees are 33% of list retail price.
