APPLICARE MEDICAL IMAGING RENEWS COMPRESSION TECHNOLOGY LICENSE WITH PEGASUS IMAGING CORPORATION |
| TAMPA, FL, March 20, 2001 - Software vendor Applicare Medical Imaging has renewed and extended its current agreement with Florida based Pegasus Imaging Corp. to incorporate its wavelet and JPEG image compression and decompression technology into its WebViewing and RadWorks™ product line. This renewal extends the relationship for three years. According to Kitty Vreeswijk, director of marketing and sales at Applicare, "Pegasus compression technology is an important component of our software, proving our end-users with high quality algorithms that increase the performance of communication.
